You will never be happier than you see yourself being.

The secret to changing your outlook is to change your in-look. Changing your outlook on life means changing the way you see yourself. You will never exceed your own image of yourself.

There are two things that shape our own self-perspective. How we view ourselves, and how we internalize how others view us.

What is Self Image?

Remember, you are a child of the King. He has given you dreams and guided your path. When doubts come to your mind, continue to focus on what the Word says. As the saying goes, “Don’t doubt in the dark what God has told you in the light.”

Do you let others opinions shape you?

Don’t let others taint you. People who lack joy, love, and fulfillment in their lives have no business imposing their self-limiting beliefs on you. Never surrender your hopes and dreams to the limitations others have placed on their own lives.

Happy people aren’t the ones living in mansions, driving the best cars, with certain circumstances surrounding their lives. Happy people are the ones with certain attitudes that remain unshakable, no matter what is happening in their lives. This usually produces success.

Success doesn’t necessarily produce happiness. True Happiness almost always produces success.

Abundance is, in large part, an attitude. Jesus owned very little. He traveled frequently, and didn’t carry an expansive wardrobe or teaching tools. Everything He needed was always at His fingertips, the exact second it was needed. From the donkey He rode during Passover to the Upper Room where He and the disciples had the last supper, from water to boats, Jesus always was able to access precisely what he needed.

How does this apply to your life? In Christ, all things are possible. Hold on to your dreams with a hopeful, positive anticipation.

“This Book of Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Joshua 1:8

Meditating on what God has placed in your heart and continually keeping it at the forefront of your mind will help you keep a positive attitude and priorities.
